Russians strike Zaporizhzhia with ballistic missiles: two injured.
Explosions in Zaporizhzhia on August 18
This morning, explosions rang out in Zaporizhzhia due to attacks by Russian occupiers using ballistic weaponry. This was reported by the head of the Zaporizhzhia regional military administration, Ivan Fedorov, on his Telegram channel.
'Explosions in Zaporizhzhia region,' Fedorov confirmed.
He urged local residents to stay in safe places until the air alarm is over. The Armed Forces of Ukraine warned about the possible use of ballistic weaponry and recorded a fast-moving target heading towards Zaporizhzhia.
Later, Fedorov reported two shellings carried out by the occupiers in Zaporizhzhia. 'Two injured are receiving medical assistance,' he added.
It is worth noting that today, Russian occupiers also attacked Kharkiv, as a result of which five people were killed. Furthermore, at night, the Russian troops launched a large-scale drone attack on the Odesa region, as evidenced by video from the State Emergency Service.
The events that took place in Zaporizhzhia on August 18 indicate that the conflict in eastern Ukraine continues to escalate, and Russian aggression remains the greatest threat to the civilian population in the region.Read also
