The DniproHES dam in Zaporizhzhia is closed again: what routes have changed.
According to inkorr.com: On October 17, a
road closure over the DniproHES damtook place in Zaporizhzhia, resulting in changes to public transport schedules. This was
reportedon the official website of the city council.
Change in trolleybus routes in Zaporizhzhia on October 17, 2025
Trolleybuses No. 1 and No. 11 are temporarily not in service. Meanwhile, routes No. 3, 8, 9, 14, and 17 continue to operate, but with some changes. From 10:30 AM to 1:00 PM, movement is partially restricted due to the repair of the contact network on Sobornyi Avenue — from Dontsova Street to Ukrainian Street.
Here are the details of the changes in electric transport movement:
No. 3: one trolleybus with autonomous drive runs from the 4th Southern microdistrict to Zaporizhzhia Square, others to Zaporizhzhia-II station and Sedov street.
No. 8: autonomous trolleybus — on the route "Simferopol Highway – Zaporizhzhia Square", others to Zaporizhzhia-II station.
No. 14: transport with autonomous drive — to the Embankment, others — to the station and Sedov street.

Trams No. 3, 10, 12, 14, 15, and 16 are operating as usual — on their regular routes.

Buses No. 7, 29, 34a, 38, 39, 56, 59, 71, 86, 94, 97, and 98 continue their service. Route No. 71 is temporarily operating from Zaporizhzhia Square to the "Epicenter" shopping center via Sobornyi Avenue, Serikov Street, and Kosmicna Street.Routes No. 17, 18, and 72 (from Borodinsky and Osypenkivsky microdistricts) have also changed their direction and now head through Vinter Boulevard, the Arch Bridge, and Khortytsia Island, without stopping at Kylyashka Street.
Additional flights "Pishchana St. – Metalurhiv Ave." and "Zaporizhkabel Factory – Metalurhiv Ave.", running through the Arch Bridge and Khortytsia, have also been organized.
This is not the first time that road restrictions over the DniproHES have affected the city's transportation system. The last time the crossing was closed was at the beginning of October due to necessary repairs that required a complete road closure.
As previously reported, in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine, the occupying authorities plan to
equip all public transport with video surveillance cameras. This concerns not only Crimea but also occupied areas of Donetsk, Luhansk, Kherson, and Zaporizhzhia regions.
Thus, the situation with public transport in Zaporizhzhia under conditions of repairs and movement restrictions continues to change. It is important to be attentive to changes in schedules to avoid wasting time traveling around the city. The local authorities are trying to inform citizens about all innovations to facilitate movement around the city during repairs.
