New functions will appear in the 'Reserv+' app: Ministry of Defense provided details.
Users of the mobile application "Reserv+" will soon be able to verify the authenticity of an issued summons and submit a deferral application through the app itself. Additionally, they will be able to choose a specialty in the Armed Forces. This was announced by the head of the Information Technology Department of the Ministry of Defense, Oleg Berestovyi, during the telethon.
According to Berestovyi, the process of issuing a summons involves printing the form and obtaining the signature and seal of the head of the territorial recruitment center. The conscript will then be able to verify the legitimacy of the signature through the QR code scanner in the "Reserv+" application.
"The application will show a status indicating that everything is legal and that it is necessary to appear according to the information specified in the summons," Berestovyi explained.
Functionality is also being developed so that conscripts entitled to a deferral could automatically submit an application without visiting the recruitment center. This concerns people with three children or those who are guardians, people with disabilities, and students receiving their first higher education.
"This is done to avoid overloading the recruitment center system with unnecessary queues and paperwork," Berestovyi explained.
Digital Recruitment
One of the new functions that will appear soon is digital recruitment. "We will provide the opportunity to choose desired positions in the Armed Forces; all of them will be aggregated, and you will be able to go through interviews and selection in the unit where you wish to serve," Berestovyi stated.
Recall that over 900 thousand conscripts in Ukraine have already been exempted from mobilization. Additionally, the Cabinet of Ministers adopted corresponding changes to the decree on exemption from mobilization, allowing internet providers and mobile operators to exempt up to 100% of their employees.
The previously adopted changes indicated that employees of companies engaged in transportation can also be exempted from mobilization. Critically important enterprises and those working for the needs of Security and Defense Forces are required to exempt staff—they have already exempted about 160 thousand employees through the "Diia" app.
