Geneva Negotiations Commence

According to UATV: A new round of three-way talks involving Ukraine, the United States, and Russia opened in Geneva on February 17. These discussions are taking place against a backdrop of regional instability, with a focus on critical security and humanitarian issues.

Delegations from the three nations are participating. Rustem Umerov, Secretary of Ukraine's National Security and Defense Council, emphasized the significance of American involvement in the process. He stated:

“We thank the American side for its engagement and consistent work in the negotiation process” - Rustem Umerov.

Primary Objectives of the Talks

A central aim of these negotiations is to advance solutions that could pave the way for a sustainable peace. Rustem Umerov further added:

“Our task is to push as far as possible those solutions that can bring a sustainable peace closer” - Rustem Umerov.
