Russia is preparing an offensive in the East in January: what is known about the enemy's plans.
According to ТСН: In the Sumy, Luhansk, and Kharkiv regions, there is a decrease in the intensity of attacks compared to a few weeks earlier. However, the enemy's actions indicate a possible preparation for an offensive as early as January.
This was reported by Lieutenant Colonel Viktor Trehubov, head of the communications department of the Joint Forces Group.
Situation at the front
According to him, the RF Armed Forces in the mentioned areas are currently 'closer to an alcohol trip' with certain 'nuances'. However, the actions of the Russians show that they may be preparing for a new offensive.
'Continuous regroupings are taking place, constant attempts at infiltration, they are being pulled together, most likely the Russian occupiers are preparing. We see that the Russians are by no means sitting quietly. But as of now, the intensity of hostilities has slightly decreased, which is clearly related to the preparation for new “meetings” in the new year,' he noted.
Attacks in the Pokrovsk direction
It should be noted that in the Pokrovsk direction, Russian occupiers continue to attack with small infantry assault groups, which are gradually being destroyed by the Defense Forces. This indicates that the enemy has large reserves of manpower.
In light of recent events at the front, it is important to remain vigilant to possible changes in the combat situation. The Russians' preparation for a new offensive could intensify tensions in the region, requiring the concentration of forces and readiness of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to respond to new challenges. The situation remains dynamic, and the further actions of the enemy can significantly affect the development of events.
