Participant of the Revolution of Dignity, nationalist and Mohylianka. Remember Artem Drobt.

Every day at 9 AM, Ukrainians honor the memory of all whose lives were taken by the Russian-Ukrainian war. Today we remember Artem Drobt.
On February 9, 2025, during a combat mission in the Donetsk region, Artem Drobt was killed - a former student of the Faculty of Natural Sciences at NaUKMA, one of the founders of the student organization 'Ukrainian Student'. This was reported by the press service of the National University 'Kyiv-Mohyla Academy'.
Artem Drobt was born on April 30, 1993, in the village of Hnydyn in the Kyiv region. According to the head of the party VO 'Svoboda', former people's deputy, and now military Oleh Tyahnybok, Artem was a nationalist since childhood, loved Ukraine, and this love shaped his character, abilities, talent, and civic position. Successful in his studies, he impressed with his erudition and fiery patriotism.
In 2011, he entered the Kyiv-Mohyla Academy specializing in 'Ecology'. He immediately became involved in the activities of the 'Ukrainian Student' organization, becoming one of its indispensable participants. In 'Ukrstudent', he took on the duties of the press service, and later also the Student Guard.
Upon reaching adulthood, he consciously made his choice - actively participating in the activities of the All-Ukrainian Union 'Svoboda'.
According to the Kyiv-Mohyla Academy, despite studying at the natural sciences faculty, Artem was actively interested in geopolitics, especially the Muslim and African countries. He was always up to date with all the latest news, especially regarding changes in power, revolutions, and coups around the world. His deep awareness of global processes and striving for change prompted him to become an active participant in the Revolution of Dignity.
The young man attempted to enroll in a military school, but the medical commission revealed a heart defect. With the start of the war, already in 2014, Artem took an academic leave and decided to join the military.
His first place of service was the volunteer Chechen battalion named after Jokhar Dudayev. From then on, the life of the Svoboda member was linked with armed struggle for a free state. Artem was personally acquainted with the organizers of the battalion, Isa Munayev, Adam Osmayev, and Amina Okuyeva.
Since 2016, he transferred to the 93rd Separate Mechanized Brigade. Throughout the war, he was in the Donbas. At the beginning of the full-scale invasion by the Russian Federation, he served in the guard of a military hospital in Sievierodonetsk; during heavy battles for Bakhmut, he was transferred to the status of a paramedic at a stabilization point, where he saved hundreds of wounded soldiers.
Later, he joined the infantry, becoming a sapper in the barrier platoon of the 91st Separate Anti-Tank Battalion.
Artem Drobt died on February 10, 2025, with a group of brothers during a combat mission near the settlement of Zaporizhzhia in the Pokrovsk district of the Donetsk region.
'Glavkom' joins a minute of silence. We honor the memory of all Ukrainians who died in the struggle for their homeland. We remember those who died at the hands of Russian invaders, lighting candles of memory and bowing our heads in sorrow during the nationwide minute of silence, commemorating the bright memory of citizens of Ukraine who gave their lives for the freedom and independence of the state: all military personnel, civilians, and children, all who perished in the struggle against Russian occupants and as a result of the attack by hostile troops on Ukrainian cities and villages.
