'Teacher of the Year in Russia' becomes an occupier and dies in Ukraine.
One of the fronts of the Russian-Ukrainian war saw the death of the 'Teacher of the Year in Russia'. He joined the occupying army a month after receiving this honorary title.
This was reported by Russian media.
Occupying Teacher
The Russian occupying army continues to suffer immense losses on Ukrainian territory. Among those destroyed by the Armed Forces of Ukraine are very unexpected figures.
It became known that one of the Ukrainian fronts saw the liquidation of a teacher from Moscow school No. 1164.
'Teacher of the Year' went to 'SVO' and did not return
Citizen of the Russian Federation Gennady Starunov not only worked as a teacher, but he also achieved serious success in this field. In May 2022, he won the 'Teacher of the Year in Moscow' competition, and in September of the same year received the 'Teacher of the Year' title at the national level. In October 2022, he went on the so-called 'special military operation,' as the Kremlin authorities refer to their invasion of Ukraine.
As early as the end of May, Starunov participated in a meeting of the 'Russia — a Country of Opportunities' council. However, as it turned out a few weeks later, the only opportunity that the occupier gained was death on one of the fronts (which one is not yet disclosed) of the 'SVO'.
We remind you that we previously reported that in the first half of 2025, the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed over 230 thousand Russian invaders.
Moreover, we reported that the summer offensive of the Russian Federation in 2025 became the deadliest for it — Russia pays with the life of one soldier for every 38 square meters of Ukrainian land.
The Ukrainian Armed Forces continue to carry out successful operations against the occupying forces of the Russian Federation, and the death of the 'Teacher of the Year in Russia' has become yet another example of failures in the aggressive policy of the Kremlin.
