According to Novyny.live: A Russian 'Molniya' drone struck a multi-story residential building in Kharkiv's Kyivskyi district on October 12. The attack damaged the top floors of the 12-story structure, blowing out windows in the process. As of now, authorities have reported no injuries or fatalities.
Mayor’s Statement on the Incident
Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov confirmed that the drone hit between the two uppermost floors of the building.
“In the Kyivskyi district, an enemy 'Molniya' struck a 12-story building. We are currently assessing the damage,”he stated. He added that, so far, the situation remains without casualties:
“Windows were blown out. The inspection of the impact site is ongoing.”
Emergency services are on the scene, working to evaluate the aftermath and provide assistance to residents. City officials continue to monitor the situation and will release updates on further actions.
