Ukrainian Forces Destroy an Iskander Launcher in Crimea Amid Strikes on Warehouses and a Key Port.
Blasts in Dovzhansk and Attacks on the Port of Kavkaz
According to TSN.ua: In the Luhansk region, explosions rocked a munitions depot in Dovzhansk. Concurrently, Ukrainian forces struck the Kavkaz seaport in Crimea and targeted Iskander operational-tactical missile launchers. The blasts in Dovzhansk resulted from a direct hit on the ammunition storage, triggering a secondary detonation.
Special operations units from Ukraine’s Armed Forces carried out an attack on the Kavkaz port, located nearly 300 kilometers from the front line near the Chushka spit. The strike destroyed one Iskander launcher. Additionally, the targeted depot caused a subsequent explosion of stored ammunition, confirming the hit’s effectiveness.
Ukraine Intensifies Operations in Occupied Territories
These actions highlight a surge in Ukrainian military activity within occupied areas, suggesting a shift in tactics against Russian forces. By hitting strategic assets like the Kavkaz port, Ukraine aims to disrupt enemy supply chains, which could significantly degrade Russia’s combat capabilities in the region. Such strikes may also force Moscow to bolster security at its facilities and reconsider its operational strategy.
