The Security Service of Ukraine, together with the National Police, uncovered fake 'Diia' and 'Reserve+' for draft evaders, the SBU press service reported.During the operation, a criminal group was detained, which was selling counterfeit documents through fake mobile applications 'Reserve+' and 'Diia' in various regions of Ukraine, including Cherkasy, Kyiv, and Zhytomyr.
According to the investigation data, - stated the press service, - five individuals involved in organizing the scheme belong to a criminal group.Developers of the mobile applications 'Reserve+' and 'Diia' from Zhytomyr region created counterfeit versions of the programs that completely imitated the original. They collected personal user data through these applications and sent it via Telegram, encouraging clients to install them on their mobile devices.### Manufacturing Fake DocumentsThe group from Cherkasy not only sold fake applications but also produced counterfeit military documents, such as certificates for draftees, medical conclusions, military tickets, and others. The society had over a thousand clients and generated a monthly 'income' of about 300 thousand hryvnias.
One of the organizers has been notified of suspicion for document forgery and interference with the lawful activities of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.Currently, the issue of holding all participants of the scheme accountable is underway. If found guilty, the offenders face up to eight years in prison with confiscation of property.The revived activities of criminal groups in the development of fake applications and production of counterfeit documents were uncovered through the joint efforts of the Security Service and the National Police. As a result of the operation, members of the group were detained, and the ongoing investigation could lead to serious consequences for the criminals.
