Ukraine has agreed on additional quotas for carriers: what does this mean.
According to inkorr.com: The Ministry of Community and Territorial Development of Ukraine has signed agreements with international partners to increase quotas for cargo transportation by road for the year 2025. As reported by the agency, Ukrainian carriers will be allowed to transport goods to and from third countries.
Details of the agreements
According to the agreement, 100 permit forms for transportation to Azerbaijan will be provided (20% of the main quota), and 300 forms will be exchanged with Bosnia and Herzegovina (100% of the main quota).
'We continue to systematically expand opportunities for Ukrainian carriers in international markets. Additional quotas with Azerbaijan and Bosnia and Herzegovina are another step towards stable logistics, business development, and strengthening economic cooperation. We are also focused on ensuring that Ukrainian carriers can continuously transport goods to European Union countries.'
- noted Deputy Minister of Community and Territorial Development Serhii Derkach.
Thus, thanks to international cooperation, the Ministry of Community and Territorial Development of Ukraine has provided carriers with new opportunities for international transportation. This decision will enhance the stability of logistics processes and help strengthen business in Ukraine, considering the growing market demands.
