On the FREEДОМ television channel, the possibility of negotiations between the leaders of the USA, Ukraine, and Russia was discussed. Political scientist Oleg Saakyan shared his thoughts on this matter. He believes that a quick meeting between Trump, Zelensky, and Putin is questionable due to difficulties in agreeing with Russia. Zelensky should not go along with conditions that are unacceptable for Ukraine, but the possibility of a quick dialogue could help in resolving the conflict. Oleg Saakyan emphasized that this initiative is an attempt to resolve the situation by exerting pressure on Russia through Trump. He considers it important to demonstrate Russia's unwillingness to achieve real peace in order to gain Trump's support. Such a meeting could lead to a humanitarian exchange and increase readiness for constructive actions from Ukraine. The meeting of the leaders in the face of Trump may also demonstrate Ukraine's readiness for peace and improve the chances for a Nobel Prize. Zelensky has already met with Trump in Washington, and this step could be significant in resolving the conflict.
