According to UATV: During a briefing held in Brussels on March 3, 2023, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and European Commission spokesperson Markus Lammert confirmed Ukraine's preparedness to open six negotiation clusters for its accession to the European Union. Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that
"Ukraine will be technically ready to open all six negotiation clusters for EU accession in just a few days' time."
In preparation, Ukraine has successfully concluded the EU's screening process, with the bilateral screening phase completed in record time. Markus Lammert emphasized the Commission's commitment, noting
"The Commission remains firmly dedicated to advancing Ukraine's EU membership and supporting the rapid progress of key reforms."
