Ukraine Strikes Occupiers with 'Palyanytsia' on Independence Day.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky announced that the new domestic rocket-drone "Palyanytsia" was used for the first time in combat. This happened on August 24, 2024, Ukraine's Independence Day.

The Head of State stated that this new weapon was used to strike Russian military targets. The President did not specify the exact location where this "Palyanytsia" drone was used.

"This is our new method of retribution against the aggressor. The enemy was critically hit. I express my gratitude to everyone who took part in this - the developers, manufacturers, and our warriors. I am proud of you. It is very difficult for Russia, and it is even impossible to say exactly what was destroyed. It is hard for them to counteract, but very easy for us to understand why this happened," Zelensky stated.

It was also previously reported that the Armed Forces of Ukraine would receive many new types of special equipment for armament.
