Trump and Xi Jinping: which leaders congratulated Ukraine on Independence Day.

According to FREEДOM: Ukraine received pleasant greetings on Independence Day from world leaders. President Volodymyr Zelensky published on social media a letter from Donald Trump, the head of the White House, who expressed support for Ukraine and called for peace.

“The people of Ukraine have an indomitable spirit, and Ukraine's courage inspires many. The United States supports negotiations for a deal that will lead to a strong, lasting peace that will end the bloodshed and protect the sovereignty and dignity of Ukraine”

The Ukrainian leader also expressed gratitude to the head of China, Xi Jinping, for his greetings on the occasion of the holiday. Both sides confirmed their readiness for further cooperation and the development of mutually beneficial relations.

“China and Ukraine maintain a traditional friendship and cooperation in various fields, benefiting both countries. We are ready to steer our relations towards stability and long-term development”
