Ukraine signed a memorandum with the manufacturer of the Iris-T system: why it matters.
The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has signed a memorandum with the German company Diehl Defence regarding air defense systems. This was reported by the head of the department, Rustem Umerov.
The minister claims that this agreement opens the door to major industrial projects that will help strengthen Ukraine's defense. He emphasized that protecting the sky and cities is a priority for the country.
This memorandum provides for a tripling of missile and air defense system supplies.
It is important that leading global defense companies are taking steps towards Ukraine. The free world is on our side, and together we are opening new opportunities to strengthen defense - Umerov emphasized.
We remind you that the decision of US President Donald Trump to halt military aid to Ukraine could become a serious blow to the arsenal of Abrams tanks and other American-made combat vehicles in the possession of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
It was previously reported that the US has suspended technical support for F-16s for Ukraine.
The US decision to suspend military intelligence for Ukraine has contributed to Russia's advance on a critical section of the front, leading to the loss of many Ukrainian soldiers in recent days.
