Ukraine offers partners to test their weapons on the battlefield.


Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine Valeriy Churkin suggested to partners the opportunity to test their products during combat operations and called for establishing a long-term partnership.
At the Estonian-Ukrainian defense industry forum held in Kyiv, Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine Valeriy Churkin stated. He emphasized that international partners have the opportunity to test their products in real combat situations and proposes to develop a long-term partnership.
Churkin noted that Estonia is Ukraine's closest friend in this matter and that industrial cooperation between countries needs to be expanded. One of the areas of collaboration is testing products in real combat conditions and joint development of enterprises. The Deputy Minister also emphasized the importance of receiving assistance from Estonian allies in the field of anti-drone solutions and the modernization of weapons already being used on the battlefield.
According to Estonian Minister of Defense Hanno Pevkur, she hopes that the defense industry forum will become a platform for creating new opportunities in defense production and technological exchange. She also noted that Estonia is ready to share its experience in IT and digital transformation.
Overall, the forum discussed the prospects for cooperation between the two countries in the field of defense and arms production. Both sides expressed readiness for further cooperation and exchange of experience to improve effectiveness in these areas.
