Ukraine is developing its own artificial intelligence model.
Ukraine has actively begun working on creating its own national-level language model of artificial intelligence, similar to ChatGPT. This was announced by Mykhailo Fedorov, the Deputy Prime Minister for Digital Transformation.
According to Fedorov, this project will be key to launching new artificial intelligence products, supporting startups, attracting investments, and increasing the country's economic potential.
«The model understands our language, history, and context better than any Western counterpart. This is not just technology - it is a step towards digital independence,» emphasized the Deputy Prime Minister.
First presentation of the model and collaboration with companies
The first version of the model is planned to be presented by the end of 2025. After that, it will be available to government agencies, universities, scientists, NGOs, and businesses.
It is also worth noting that Mattel has decided to collaborate with OpenAI to create toys and games using artificial intelligence, with the first product planned for this year.
Not staying aside, Ukraine plans to actively develop the artificial intelligence sector by creating its own language model, which will significantly contribute to the country's digital independence. Collaboration with global companies is also important for expanding the application of artificial intelligence in various fields, which will promote technological progress and economic growth.
