According to UATV: Ukraine's energy sector is facing a severe crisis due to relentless Russian attacks on its infrastructure. In response, the nation is organizing an 'Energy Ramstein' meeting, modeled on the defense contact group, to urgently coordinate international support. This initiative underscores the critical need to shield Ukraine's power grid from further destruction as winter approaches.
Allied Support Arrives
On January 15, 2023, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha announced that Norway has provided a $200 million aid package for the purchase of gas and equipment.
"This week we have already received a major package of $200 million from Norway for the purchase of gas and equipment," - Andrii Sybiha.Separately, Italy has begun delivering high-capacity industrial boilers with a total value of 1.85 million euros.
