With a top speed of 18.5 km/h and an operational depth of 60 meters, the drone is designed for stealth and impact.

Experts caution, however, that this technology is not a one-size-fits-all solution. Dmytro Pletenchuk remarked:

“The arrival of a new drone does not mean we have a universal fix for every challenge.”

Pletenchuk also noted that ships, being relatively large targets, are easier to track than smaller vessels:

“A ship is a fairly large object. To some extent, they are easier to monitor than other similar targets.”
