Retired Lieutenant General Ihor Romanenko, a former Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, stressed the system’s importance as enemy aerial targets grow more sophisticated.

The new Ukrainian air defense system will consist of several integrated elements to maximize its effectiveness.
