President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky and Prime Minister of Ireland Simon Harris signed an Agreement on Support for Ukraine and Cooperation between the two countries. This was reported on the president's website.

Ireland has committed to allocate 128 million euros for non-lethal military support and 40 million euros for humanitarian aid to Ukraine. It will provide demining systems and equipment for neutralizing explosive devices and participate in a demining coalition. Other avenues of support through the Defense Contact Group, such as an IT coalition, will also be discussed.

"Ireland will provide ongoing training for the Armed Forces of Ukraine through the EU Military Assistance Mission (EUMAM) in Ukraine. The agreement also includes humanitarian aid, support for reforms, holding Russia accountable, and further strengthening sanctions pressure on Russia," the statement said.

Volodymyr Zelensky:"Today we signed a bilateral agreement between Ukraine and Ireland on security, and this document will allow us to realize the full potential of cooperation between our countries, as well as with partners within the entire security treaty architecture".

The agreement also provides for Ireland's efforts to implement the Peace Formula and participate in the activities of the International Coalition for the Return of Ukrainian Children. Ukraine has already concluded 26 bilateral agreements for the implementation of the G7 Joint Declaration.

Volodymyr Zelensky:"I especially want to thank Ireland for joint work on demining our land. This is a real rescue for many of our people. Of course, we will continue to work together for greater resilience of Ukraine, Ireland, and all of Europe. This concerns, in particular, cyber threats".

Overall, Ireland has provided Ukraine with humanitarian, stabilization, and non-lethal military assistance totaling 380 million euros. The President of Ukraine expressed gratitude for the support and emphasized that the document will allow the implementation of cooperation between the countries and partners within the security agreements framework.

Recall, the European Union promised to enhance military aid to Ukraine in response to Russia's strikes.
