A Secure Technical Channel for Information Sharing Between Ukraine and NATO

According to TSN.ua: NATO and Ukraine are preparing to establish a technical channel for the exchange of classified information, marking a significant step in the deepening of their partnership. Valerii Vyshniovskyi, the Director of Program Implementation at the Center, explained that this involves building a system for the secure transmission of data. The planned system will facilitate encrypted data exchange between Ukraine's Ministry of Defence, the General Staff of the Armed Forces, and NATO.

The initial test systems for sharing confidential information could be operational by the end of 2026. Valerii Vyshniovskyi emphasized the project's importance, stating:

'We plan to launch a pilot project, which will be a crucial milestone in the development of Ukraine-NATO relations' - Valerii Vyshniovskyi.

In parallel, the Center aims to achieve full operational capability by the end of June, ahead of the NATO summit in Ankara.

Vyshniovskyi also noted that 'when a window of opportunity opens, Ukraine must be 101% ready.' This underscores Ukraine's serious commitment to strengthening its ties with the Alliance and its preparedness for new security challenges. This development comes as Ukraine seeks to align its defense and intelligence systems more closely with Western standards.
