Ukraine and the United States are actively working on concluding an agreement on cooperation in the field of rare earth metals. Both sides have already made significant progress and plan to formalize it in a memorandum of intent. This statement was made by the Deputy Minister of Economy of Ukraine, Taras Kachka. He emphasized the importance of publicly outlining the parameters of the agreements to inform the public and avoid rumors. The signing of the document is expected soon. So far, the full text of the agreement is not ready; the parties are still working on its details, including American proposals. As for the agreement with the USA on rare earth minerals, Ukraine has already defined its position in the context of the subsoil development agreement. US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessen revealed new details of the agreement and stated that it is a signal to Russia that the USA remains a partner for Ukraine. Ukraine has received a new version of the mining agreement from the USA, which will now be reviewed by lawyers. Also, for the preparation of the draft agreement on the Investment Fund for the Reconstruction of Ukraine, Ukraine has received over 113 million UAH.
