Paxton, who supports the 'Make America Great Again' ideology, has mentioned several times the possibility of challenging Cornyn and even referred to him as 'RINO' – a Republican who does not align with conservative values. However, experts note that defeating Cornyn in the primary will be an expensive endeavor, and it is still uncertain whether Paxton can raise the necessary funds.
