Trump administration officials claim that The Atlantic magazine "acknowledged" that its article, presenting a personal account of a group chat on Signal involving national security officials discussing an attack on terrorists in Yemen, did not contain "military plans".
"The Atlantic magazine acknowledged: these were NOT 'military plans'," Press Secretary Caroline Levitt wrote on X on Wednesday. "This story was yet another deception written by a Trump-hater known for sensationalist tendencies."
