Ukrainians were told the reason for halting enterprise reservations.
First Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Svyrydenko explained why enterprise reservations were stopped. According to her, the increase in the number of critically important enterprises was anomalously fast, which is why an audit was appointed. Svyrydenko noted that there were hundreds of thousands of reservations, exceeding the figures of previous months, yet they were not justified by economic factors. Conducting the audit will help determine the cause of such an increase and dispel doubts about defense capability. The audit is being conducted by commissions at military-civil administrations and the Ministry of Defense. It is to be completed by November 15. Svyrydenko also emphasized that it is unreasonable to grant new reservations while the audit is ongoing.
