Ukrainians were shown how much the state spent on social payments in 2024.
The Ministry of Finance of Ukraine reports that social payments for the first three quarters of 2024 were fully and timely funded. In total, 319.1 billion hryvnias from the state budget were allocated for social payments. The largest part of these funds was directed towards pension payments and allowances to them, as well as to cover the deficit of the Pension Fund. Additionally, a significant amount was allocated for the social protection of citizens in difficult life circumstances, such as disability and internally displaced persons. Insufficiently provided families and families with children also received financial support. Specifically, funds were allocated for benefits and housing subsidies for citizens. Funding for social protection of children and families was also ensured. Besides this, funds were allocated for the social protection of people with disabilities.
A social survey was previously conducted to determine whether Ukrainians have sufficient income for living.
