Ukrainians have been informed which regions of Germany accept refugees in February 2025: addresses of the camps.

Ukrainians have been informed about which regions of Germany accept refugees in February 2025. This is reported by VisitUkraine based on information from visiting Ukraine.
In Germany, the support for Ukrainian refugees continues, and the federal states of the country continue to accept people who have been forced to leave their homeland due to military actions. Reception points operate in various regions, although the main plans for the long-term accommodation of refugees are still being agreed upon. The authorities are also addressing issues related to the further resettlement of Ukrainians in Germany.
Most displaced persons initially arrive at temporary reception points, which are essentially temporary shelters. They are then distributed across the federal states.
'The situation with housing in Germany is very complicated. If you have nowhere to live, you will never be left on the street, but you should expect many months of living in hangars, dormitories, containers, or gyms, not necessarily near a large city,' volunteers reported via the website uahelp.wiki.
It is important to note the significance of registration. Registered refugees cannot be accepted elsewhere and must reside in the federal state where they were registered or to which they were sent. To move to another state requires a special permit, which can only be obtained in important cases, such as finding a job or studying, moving to family, or due to minor children.
Refugee camp in Germany
Temporary accommodation for refugees in Germany is often carried out in adapted facilities with minimal comfort. Sports halls, modular containers, and dormitories are used as temporary shelters and are usually located in remote areas. Living conditions are characterized by a minimal standard of living.
An additional challenge for refugees is the issue of housing pets. Many families are forced to make the difficult decision to temporarily surrender their beloved pets for paid care, which creates additional emotional and financial burdens.
Those seeking more comfortable conditions for themselves or their pets may consider other European countries such as Finland or the Czech Republic, where the accommodation rules are more flexible.
