Ukrainians do not believe in a fair peace under Trump. Survey.
Ukrainians are losing faith in a fair peace under Trump's leadership
Only 3% of Ukrainians hope for a complete fair peace during Donald Trump's presidency. This data was obtained by KMIS during a survey. 15% of respondents believe in the possibility of a fair peace with some compromises from Russia, while 21% think that peace will be partially fair. On the other hand, 32% of Ukrainians expect an unjust peace with the fulfillment of Ukraine's demands, while 22% do not hope for justice at all.
Increasing criticism among Ukrainians regarding the possibility of fair peace
The survey results indicate a growing critical attitude among Ukrainians towards the possibility of achieving quick or complete fair peace under Trump's leadership. According to KMIS, in December 2024, 31% of respondents did not believe in fair peace, but over time this number increased to 58%. Currently, only 18% of Ukrainians hope for complete or quick fair peace.
The KMIS survey was conducted among 1326 Ukrainians in March 2025. It is important to note that trust in the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has risen to 69%.
