Fire at the Oil Refinery in Volgograd
According to preliminary information, as a result of strikes by attack drones, large fires broke out on the premises of the enterprise. Final data on the damage inflicted is currently being clarified. The General Staff of the UAF noted that the Volgograd oil refinery is the largest fuel producer in the Southern Federal District of Russia. Its annual capacity exceeds 15 million tons of oil processing — about 5.6% of the total oil processing volume in the country.
'The refinery produces diesel, gasoline, and jet fuel, which are critically important for the logistics of the Russian armed forces.' - stated the General Staff.
'We are consistently working to reduce the production capacities of oil products in the aggressor country and weaken its army. Russia must fully feel the consequences of its aggressive policy and stop the war against Ukraine.' - noted the servicemen of the UAF.
During the joint operation, Ukrainian defense units struck the Volgograd oil refinery in Russia, which may lead to a weakening of the military capabilities of the Russian army and a reduction in fuel supplies for it.Read also
