Strikes on Occupied Territories

According to Novyny.live: Ukrainian defense forces have conducted strikes on temporarily occupied territories, including Crimea, targeting and destroying enemy air defense systems, ammunition depots, and logistical hubs. These actions, which took place on March 11–12, 2023, are aimed at degrading the military infrastructure of the occupying forces. These precision strikes are part of a broader effort to disrupt Russian supply lines and command capabilities ahead of potential Ukrainian counter-offensives.

During these two days, a series of key targets were successfully hit. Specifically:

  • A radar station for an S-300 surface-to-air missile system was destroyed near Sevastopol;
  • An S-300V missile system launcher was eliminated in the Borovenky area of the Luhansk region;
  • An enemy command and observation post was destroyed near Vasylivka in the Zaporizhzhia region.

A significant achievement was the destruction of over 6,000 artillery shells in the Donetsk region during a strike on a field ammunition depot. This strike forms part of a deliberate strategy to reduce the enemy's capacity to sustain combat operations.

Additionally, the redeployment of a military satellite communications station to Sevastopol has been observed, which may indicate an attempt by Russian forces to bolster their military capabilities in the region. These events highlight the ongoing, active measures Ukrainian forces are taking to challenge the aggressor and work towards reclaiming occupied land.

A Systematic Campaign to Degrade Enemy Capabilities

The strikes on critical elements of the occupiers' military infrastructure demonstrate a systematic approach by Ukrainian forces to erode the enemy's war-fighting potential. Destroying air defense assets and significant ammunition stockpiles could severely impact the ability of Russian troops to conduct operations, particularly in the context of future Ukrainian counterattacks.

The movement of the satellite communications station, in turn, underscores that Russian forces are also intensifying their efforts in the area, which may lead to a further escalation of the conflict.
