Ukrainian forces have regained their positions near Pokrovsk after previously losing them. Analysts from the Institute for the Study of War (ISW) confirm this fact in their report. At the same time, Russian troops continue to advance in the Kursk region and in the areas of Chasiv Yar, Pokrovsk, and Kurakhove.
In the Kursk region, Russian troops made progress towards the western outskirts of Viktoriivka, as well as southwest and northwest of Nikolskoye. In the Kharkiv region, there were ground attacks, but Russian forces were unable to advance. As a result of the offensive in Luhansk region, the enemy also did not succeed. In Donetsk region, Russian troops advanced towards Chasiv Yar and Toretske. There were also changes on the Pokrovsk front, where Ukrainian troops regained their positions, but Russian forces captured Zelenyi and Novyi Trud. The enemy continues to move northwest of Kurakhove.
In the south of the country, Russian forces conducted a limited attack but were unable to continue their advance. Ukrainian troops struck a Russian anti-aircraft complex southeast of Novomykolaivka. Ground attacks also took place in the Dnipro direction, but a military breakthrough did not occur.
