According to ТСН: Specialized units of the 8th regiment of the Special Operations Forces (SOF) detained a Russian agent who was adjusting attacks on Ukrainian positions in Kup'yansk.

Military personnel reported that information about the enemy informant in the city became known thanks to radio intercepts. The enemy tried to act covertly, constantly changing locations and hiding in the dense urban development.

As noted by the SOF press service, the search was complicated by a large number of possible hiding spots and firing positions in Kup'yansk. However, as a result of prolonged and persistent work, the SOF team was able to locate the spotter and carry out a successful detention.

“For the defense of Kup'yansk and successful fulfillment of combat tasks, the soldiers of the Special Operations Forces received awards and honors. In particular, SOF operator 'Borysfen' was awarded the Order of 'For Courage' of the 1st degree, which he received from the President of Ukraine,” the press service noted.

We remind you that in occupied Alchevsk, soldiers of the 88th brigade of the Russian Federation, while drunk, were involved in a traffic accident, resulting in the death of the brigade commander Eric Selimov and three of his subordinates.

The Third Army Corps also published an investigation into the mechanism of forced conscription of foreigners into the Russian army. These individuals are sent to fight against Ukraine due to fabricated criminal cases.

These events testify to the activity of Ukrainian forces in the fight against enemy agents and the serious problems observed among Russian military personnel, including cases of misconduct and forced conscription. The situation leaves hopes for further strengthening of the efforts of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the international community in ensuring security in the region.
