Ukrainian analog of DJI Mavic quadcopter performs first demonstration flights.

Ukrainian manufacturers have created a drone that has the characteristics of the Chinese Mavic quadcopter from DJI. This was reported by Herman Smytanin, the Minister for Strategic Industries.
The minister noted that eight manufacturers have united and two of them already have drone models. He also published a video of the first demonstration flights of these drones in a Telegram channel.
The drones flew a distance of 10 km at an altitude of over 250 m and reached the target. This was demonstrated to various military structures and state procurers. The military evaluated the quality of the products and met with the manufacturers to discuss their characteristics and production capabilities.
According to the minister, the drones are inexpensive, functional, and easy to control. An important advantage is that they are produced in Ukraine, which ensures independence from foreign supplies and helps save money in the country.
It should be reminded that a Ukrainian defense enterprise signed an agreement with the Belgian company Thales to jointly produce missiles to combat Russian drones. Minister Smytanin stated that this cooperation will strengthen the Ukrainian defense industry and protect critical infrastructure from enemy drones.
In addition, Russian students are developing drone modifications by adding cheap modems, SIM cards, and other elements for flight tracking. This was announced by Sergey Beskrestnov, an expert in communication, radio-electronic warfare, and intelligence. He also noted that drones are increasingly being used at low altitudes, making it difficult to detect them with Ukrainian radar systems.
