An Atmospheric Front Will Cause Weather Changes in Ukraine at the Beginning of March

It is forecasted that the weekend of March 1-2 will see an atmospheric front passing through Ukraine, bringing precipitation in the form of rain and wet snow. The precipitation will affect the entire country, except for the eastern regions.

The temperature regime will also change depending on the region. Night temperatures will range from +4 degrees in the west to -9 degrees in the east of the country. Daytime temperatures will be highest in the western regions, reaching +2 to +7 degrees.

On Saturday, the coldest temperatures will be in the east, ranging from -2 to -5 degrees, while on Sunday temperatures will be between 0 and -4 degrees. In other areas, daytime temperatures will range from +1 to +5 degrees.

'Kyiv will feel the atmospheric front already on Saturday - wet snow is expected, and it will be simply overcast on Sunday,' noted Natalka Didenko. Air temperature in the capital will fluctuate between +1 to +3 degrees on Saturday, and on Sunday it will warm up to +3 to +5 degrees.

It is forecasted that next week the temperature will continue to rise, but the weather will be complicated by wind and precipitation.

Earlier, meteorologists predicted whether March in Ukraine would be warm and sunny.
