Ukrenergo announced new electricity restrictions on February 18.
The National Energy Company 'Ukrenergo' has reported temporary electricity supply restrictions for industrial enterprises and businesses. The restrictions will be in effect twice a day: in the morning from 6:00 to 9:00 and in the evening from 16:00 to 19:00.
The reason is damage to energy infrastructure after missile and drone attacks from Russia. The company has already started restoring equipment, but the restoration time is currently unknown.
'Disconnecting household consumers is currently not planned,' said representatives of 'Ukrenergo'. However, the conditions of restrictions may change.
Ukrenergo recommends consumers to check updates on the official website and the pages of local energy companies in social networks. The company also urges citizens to consume energy efficiently to support the stable operation of the energy system.
Earlier, 'Ukrenergo' had already provided advice on reducing electricity consumption during frosts.
