Ukrainian delegation made progress in negotiations in the USA: what was discussed.
According to ТСН: The Ukrainian delegation held numerous meetings and negotiations over two days in the USA. There is positive progress, but some issues still need further refinement.
Progress and due diligence
This was stated by Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Rustem Umerov.
“Over two very productive days in the USA, we held many hours of meetings and negotiations. We were able to achieve significant progress, although some issues require further refinement,” he noted.
Discussions with partners
Earlier, a conversation took place between Zelensky, Macron, and Starmer regarding the results of meetings in the USA with Umerov and Vitkoff.
“Just now, together with Emmanuel Macron — also Keir Starmer was on the line — we spoke with Rustem Umerov and Steve Vitkoff regarding the outcomes of the negotiations in Florida. An important briefing,” he pointed out.
Zelensky also added that the parties will work on coordinating schedules for potential further contacts.
These negotiations in the USA demonstrate the activity of the Ukrainian delegation in seeking partnership solutions and strengthening cooperation with international allies. The positive progress of the negotiation process indicates that Ukraine continues to seek ways to effectively address current issues on the international stage.
