As a result of the RF attack on Kharkiv, an 18-year-old artist died.
In Kharkiv, as a result of the shelling, the 18-year-old artist Nika Kozhushko died. This was reported by Serhiy Zhadan.
«Today, during the shelling in Kharkiv, Nika Kozhushko died – very young, sincere and talented. An hour before her death, she sent her new drawing. That is, her last drawing», – Zhadan wrote.
Zhadan emphasized that the Russians are destroying our future and there is no justification for this.
Poetess Tatyana Vlasova also recalled the artist's drawing.
«This drawing was given to me by Veronika Kozhushko a few weeks ago at the Podil Theater in Kyiv. We did not know each other before, but now I have her drawing. Today, during the shelling of Kharkiv, Veronika died. She was 18», – Vlasova wrote.
Olena Rybka, deputy chief editor of the Vivat publishing house, remembers Nika as a «ray of light» who sensitively conveyed her works.
«She looks at this world with loving eyes. She jokes in a way that only those like her can. When she and her friend run up to hug – I hug very gently because it seems they will fly away like dandelions – they are so light. Perhaps, so as not to fly away, Nika wore all these metal bracelets and rings… I cannot accept this loss», – Olena Rybka wrote.
On August 30, Russian invaders shelled Kharkiv with guided aerial bombs. One of the strikes caused damage to the central part of Kharkiv, in a 12-story residential building.
Currently, the number of those killed in the shelling of Kharkiv has reached seven. 77 people were injured, including 18 children.
