A 11-year-old girl mysteriously died in an orphanage in Kyiv: a criminal case has been opened.

According to ТСН: The body of an 11-year-old girl named Myroslava L. was found in one of the orphanages in the Darnytskyi district of Kyiv. Her death occurred on Monday morning, and the cause remains unknown.

The police in Kyiv confirmed the fact of the child's death and reported the initiation of a criminal case under the article 'Intentional murder' with the note 'Natural death.' This is being done to clarify all the details of this tragic incident.

'The body of the minor has been sent for forensic examination to establish the causes of death,' the Department of Communications of the Main Directorate of National Police in Kyiv stated.

The administration of the orphanage where this tragedy occurred refused to comment on the incident. Specialists from the Department of Social and Veteran Policy of the Kyiv City State Administration, who deal with orphanage issues, also refrained from commenting on the child's death.

Investigators are currently establishing all the details of this sad event. Additionally, the circumstances of the girl's death are being analyzed by the President of Ukraine's children's rights and rehabilitation advisor Daria Gerasymchuk.
