One of the most dangerous ISIS terrorists has been eliminated in Iraq.
US President Donald Trump announced that the leader of ISIS in Iraq, Abu Khadija, and another member of the terrorist group were eliminated during a joint operation by the US, Iraq, and Kurdistan. The elimination was carried out through an airstrike in Anbar province in the west of the country. According to Trump, these actions dealt a significant blow to ISIS's activities in the region.
Events related to the fight against terrorism are also taking place in Ukraine. Recently, law enforcement officers in Kyiv detained a member of the international terrorist organization 'Islamic State'. The man was wanted by Interpol and was involved in smuggling fighters of the terrorist organization into Syrian territory. Upon arriving in Ukraine, he attempted to establish a channel for the illegal legalization of individuals from countries with heightened terrorist risks. The man regularly changed mobile phone numbers and addresses of rented apartments.
