NATO guarantees continued military aid to Ukraine: what Rutte stated.
According to CBS News, NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte confirmed that despite possible outcomes of the upcoming negotiations between the USA and Russia, the supply of weapons to Ukraine will continue. Ukraine has already received the first two packages of military assistance from the Netherlands and Scandinavian countries, with new supplies expected.
NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte noted that US President Donald Trump decided to support Ukraine by initiating the supply of lethal military assistance for the country. This is funded by European countries and Canada, and will be additional support for Ukraine following the existing backing from Europe and investments in the defense industry.
Mark Rutte expressed hope that during the meeting with Russian leader Vladimir Putin, US President Donald Trump will try to clarify the position regarding a peaceful resolution of the conflict. The NATO Secretary General emphasized the importance of unity between Ukraine, Europe, and the USA, excluding the possibility of dividing allies for Putin.
Ukraine can count on NATO's support and the support of other countries in continuing the supply of military assistance, which will contribute to strengthening the country's defense capabilities and peaceful resolution of the conflict in Donbas.
