The city of Odesa is experiencing a shortage of public transport drivers, and it is all due to mobilization. The mayor, Hennadiy Trukhanov, explained that people prefer to serve in the Armed Forces, which leads to a lack of personnel not only in transportation but also in many other areas.Due to the shortage of drivers, even humanitarian buses that Odesa received cannot be used due to the lack of drivers. Mayor Trukhanov emphasized that the issue of staff shortages due to mobilization is felt not only in the transportation sector. It is also worth mentioning that the mayor plans to run again for the post of head of Odesa. Thus, the lack of public transport drivers in Odesa is becoming a serious problem, which is explained by mobilization in the Armed Forces and a shortage of personnel in the city.
