Assistance is provided to veterans by the Odessa City Council
The Coordination Council on Veteran Policy in Odessa reviewed 200 appeals from veterans. As a result of the meeting, a decision was made to provide targeted monthly and one-Time municipal assistance.
- 14 individuals with disabilities due to war, if the disability is related to injury, concussion, or mutilation, will be provided assistance of 3000 UAH per month.
- 8 individuals with disabilities due to war, if the disability occurred due to illness, will be provided assistance of 2000 UAH per month.
- 23 family members of fallen veterans will be provided assistance of 3000 UAH per month.
A decision was also made to provide one-time municipal assistance to veterans and family members of fallen veterans in various spheres of life.
- 16 veterans and 10 family members of fallen veterans will be provided assistance in the amount of 286,300 UAH.
- 30 children from veteran families will be provided assistance to purchase bakery products in the amount of 1500 UAH per child.
- 33 children from veteran families will be provided assistance in the amount of 4000 UAH per child.
- 49 families of fallen veterans and families of fallen veterans of Ukraine will be provided assistance for paying housing and communal services.
- 1 family of fallen veterans, in which children under three years old are raised, will be provided assistance to purchase hygiene products in the amount of 10,000 UAH per child.
- 71 children of fallen veterans and children of missing military personnel will be provided assistance at the beginning of the school year in the amount of 10,000 UAH per child.
- 35 parents of fallen veterans will be provided assistance in the amount of 10,000 UAH on the Day of Remembrance of the Defenders of Ukraine.
This financial support is provided from the budget of the Odessa city territorial community and as part of the implementation of the City Targeted Program "Veteran of Odessa" for 2024-2026.
