Odesa Restarts Electric Public Transport

According to Novyny.live: Electric public transport in Odesa is gradually being brought back into service, including trams and trolleybuses. Starting April 2, tram route No. 7 resumes operation, connecting the northern and southern parts of the city. This line will run from Paulustovsky Street to the 11th stop of Lustdorf Road, with an estimated frequency of every 12–13 minutes.

In addition to tram No. 7, a free social bus route C2 has been operating in test mode since April 1. It links the railway station with the Kotovsky settlement, with the first departure from the station at 06:00 and intervals ranging from 20 to 60 minutes. Tram No. 1 has also resumed service, traveling between Chornomorskoho Kozatstva Street and Paulustovsky Street every 14–16 minutes.

Overall, about one-third of the city's trams and trolleybuses are now in operation, running at intervals of 20 to 40 minutes. The following tram routes are currently active:

  • No. 28 'Shevchenko Park — Pastera Street'

Active trolleybus routes include:

  • No. 3 'Shevchenko Park — Zastava-1'
  • No. 7 'Arkhitektorska Street — Novoselskoho Street'
  • No. 9 'Inhlezi — Richeliyevska Street'
  • No. 10 'Inhlezi — Prymorska Street'
  • No. 12 'Arkhitektorska Street — Central Airport'
