According to Novyny.live: The charitable foundation 'Rokada' has launched a registration process for a financial aid program aimed at internally displaced persons (IDPs) in the Khmelnytskyi region. This initiative provides compensation to help cover rental costs and utility expenses. Registration for the program began in the summer of 2026.
Eligibility Criteria for the Program
The program covers the Khmelnytskyi region, where displaced individuals can access financial support. Applicants must meet specific conditions:
- Have relocated to the Khmelnytskyi region within the last six months;
- Possess a signed rental agreement;
- Provide proof of their ability to work.
It is important to note that the assistance is targeted and can only be used for rent and utility payments.
Residents have until July 29 to register for this grant program, which offers financial aid of up to $1,450. Self-employed individuals and micro-entrepreneurs are also eligible for payments. As part of the winter preparedness support, an additional payout of 19,000 UAH is available for purchasing solid fuel.
For inquiries about program requirements or other details, contact the helpline at 067 323 74 554 or 067 447 08 13. This initiative aims to support people who have been forced to leave their homes due to circumstances, helping to ease the financial burden of housing and utilities.
'This program represents a crucial step in supporting internally displaced persons, who often face financial challenges in new regions.'
By providing funding for housing and utility costs, this assistance can significantly ease their transition into a new environment. Many individuals have had to abandon their homes due to conflict or other reasons, and initiatives like this help ensure their basic needs are met, fostering stability in unfamiliar conditions.
