Body cameras received by military recruitment centers in Rivne region: how this will change the work of military enlistment offices.
Body cameras have been purchased for the employees of military recruitment centers in the Rivne region. This was made possible thanks to the joint efforts of the regional military recruitment centers, public organizations, and local government.
The corresponding information was announced to journalists by the spokesperson of the regional military recruitment center, Tetiana Kameristova, as reported by Rivne Evening.
Purpose of the body cameras
According to the spokesperson, starting from September 1, all military recruitment center mobile patrols will use video recording to document conflict situations. She noted that the necessary equipment was purchased with the support of local authorities and concerned citizens.
The use of body cameras will help avoid possible misunderstandings during communication between military recruitment center officers and citizens, as the entire process will be recorded on video. Video recordings will be stored on a specialized server for 30 days after the patrol.
In addition, the acquisition of body cameras was approved by the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, which mandated the military recruitment center employees to carry out video documentation during document checks.
