The OSCE PA evaluated the possibility of holding elections in Ukraine.

Volodymyr Zelensky became the President of Ukraine after legitimate elections
The head of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly, Pia Kauma, claims that Volodymyr Zelensky became the President of Ukraine after legitimate elections, and holding new votes due to martial law is currently impossible.
She stated this in an exclusive interview with Ukrinform.
'I think there are at least two ways to interpret the situation. One is that this is simply negotiation tactics, an attempt to 'save face' for Putin in negotiations, and then, possibly, assess Russia's true responsibility more realistically in all this,' Kauma commented on Trump's statements, who called the President of Ukraine a 'dictator'.
According to her, the second option is 'of course the worst' - 'that Trump really means what he says.'
'And I would be very worried if that were the case. Because we know here, in the Parliamentary Assembly, that Mr. Zelensky was elected in legitimate elections,' the president of the OSCE PA noted.
Kauma also pointed out that since martial law is currently in effect in Ukraine, conducting reliable elections is impossible, 'because candidates cannot campaign, and voters cannot safely reach polling stations.' 'Simply put, at this moment it is impossible,' she stated.
