Will Telegram be banned in the Poltava region? Head of the Poltava Regional Council explained the situation.
The deputies of the Poltava Regional Council decided to ban the use of the Telegram messenger in the region. The reason for this was security issues and the transfer of information to Russia. According to the clarifications of the Ukrainian special services, the deputies recommended banning the messenger. However, the head of the Poltava Regional Council, Oleksandr Bilenkyi, stated that this information is unreliable and accused the authors of spreading nonsense. He noted that anything can be banned in the region, but he does not plan to ban Telegram. It was previously decided to ban the use of the messenger on official devices of government workers and military personnel.
