In Ukraine, deferments from mobilization are being canceled: three months left.

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has adopted important changes to the procedure for reserving conscripts during mobilization and wartime.
According to the new resolution, all previously granted deferments from conscription, both through the Ministry of Economy and through the 'Diia' portal, will remain valid until the specified deadline, but no longer than until February 28, 2025.
The document outlines the grounds for annulling deferments. These include cases such as the expiration of the validity period, employee dismissal, liquidation of the enterprise, temporary suspension of the employment contract, and revocation of the enterprise's critical importance status.
The resolution establishes new requirements for employers. Critical enterprises are required to notify the Pension Fund of all personnel changes within one day, including hiring, transfers, dismissals, or reinstatements of employees. This will be carried out through the electronic portal of the Pension Fund using a qualified electronic signature.
An important innovation is the extension of the validity period of decisions regarding the recognition of enterprises as critically important. For organizations whose status expires before November 30, 2024, it is automatically extended until December 31, 2024.
The Ministry of Digital Transformation, the Ministry of Defense, and the Ministry of Justice have been tasked with ensuring electronic interaction between state registers for the electronic processing of deferments within a month. It is also envisaged to create a technical capability for submitting documents through the electronic services portal.
Most provisions of the resolution come into effect on December 1, 2024; however, some items, particularly those regarding the validity periods of deferments, will take effect from the date of publication of the document.
